Living Histories at Animo Justice

Living Histories is excited to now be partnering with Animo Justice High School in South LA!

We'll be bringing a photography class to students during after school hours.

Here is some examples of what the students have done during their first week:

The first week of classes, we gave students cameras to take pictures throughout their school and in the neighborhood around their school. Their first assignment was to take photos that expressed the emotions of love, anger, loneliness, hope and depression. We then asked them to think about how they perceive their community and how to express that in a photographic image. Below are some highlights of their photographic work.
